A selfless group of individuals from different walks of life who are driven by a common objective: Eradication of Illiteracy from our community.
Our members include men and women from diverse fields and different age groups.
Set up in in October 2004, aaghaz foundation is a Lucknow-based community driven organisation committed to the cause of providing education to under privileged Muslim students. Unable to meet the high costs, every year thousands of Muslim children are forced to discontinue their education. A recent study suggests that the school drop out rate is highest among Muslim children (Justice Sachhar Report). Our members are drawn from various walks of life and include an eclectic mix of professionals, executives, businessmen, journalists and educationists
It's great literacy initiatative to help the under privileged students of the community and make Nation to grow.Hope all like minded people will come forward, join hands to capatalise on Aaghaz Model and it's Vision for 2010. Organisations like these needs more hands to carry forward the good work!! Congrats
